About PTE Academic
Admission to a reputed university requires a distinct skill set. Because admissions are so competitive these days, your academic performance is not the only factor that is considered at the time of admission.
You must have the necessary language skills, especially if you plan to study in a country where English is the native language. The Pearson Language Test (PTE) Academic is the language test required by most foreign universities. PTE exam registration is mandatory to take the test.
PTE Academic evaluates your overall command of the English language. It is a computer-based English language test, a first of its kind, and assesses applicants' English reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
The PTE test is driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and intends to provide quick and easy testing solutions while eliminating human bias. Pearson Inc. first introduced the PTE Academic test in 2009, following a comprehensive research program led by the world's leading language assessment experts. The English language test is widely accepted by colleges and universities worldwide. Students from 180 different nationalities and speaking 115 different languages take the exam year after year.
A high PTE exam score can help you get into the school of your choice. It also offers proof of your English language abilities and allows you to gain international exposure after graduation.
